DeskSprite

DeskSprite is a free desktop pet application that brings an interactive animated companion to your screen. The pet responds to your clicks, follows your cursor movements, and remains quiet while you work, creating a familiar presence each time you open your laptop. It runs locally on your device, ensuring your data stays private.

The app offers multiple pet options including free default pets and members-only characters, with the unique ability to transform your own pet photos into custom AI-generated desktop companions. Users can upload 1-3 photos of their pets, and within minutes, AI generates a full set of action clips including idle animations and cursor-tracking behaviors, automatically packaged into the DeskSprite app.

DeskSprite is ideal for users seeking a fun, interactive way to personalize their desktop experience. It's available as a native application for Windows and macOS, as well as a Chrome extension, making it accessible across multiple platforms.
